Step 1: Get Invites

CleverCo is an invite-only program for now. To apply, you need to be referred by a friend, a current tutor, a teacher, or someone already connected with the CleverCo network. This keeps our community tight-knit and ensures every applicant is coming in with an understanding of what we stand for.

Step 2: Book a 10 Minute Consultation Call

Once invited, you’ll schedule a short call with one of the student founders. We’ll walk you through what being a Scholar actually looks like, answer any questions, and make sure it’s the right fit for both sides. No pressure, just a conversation to get to know each other.

Step 3: Receive Registration Form

After the call, we’ll send you a registration form where you’ll tell us about your academic background, preferred teaching schedule, and a few personality-based questions. This helps us match you with students you’ll genuinely enjoy teaching.

Step 4: Wait for your Scholar Application to Get Approved

Once your form is submitted, we’ll take 1–2 days to review your application. We’re looking for bright, driven students who communicate well and care about helping others. If approved, you’ll receive a welcome email and everything you need to get started.

Step 5: Start Teaching & Claim Your Incentives

Once approved, you’ll create your own learning circle and set your monthly rate. Invite your peers, share resources, and teach on your schedule. You’ll earn 100% of your revenue minus a flat $99 platform fee CleverCo takes to support operations. Plus, get a $150 sign-on bonus and $20 for every friend you refer. We handle the admin and payouts so you can focus on helping your students grow.
